Carry On Dig

While Anzac Day in New Zealand serves to remind us of our fallen heroes, it also recalls for ex-servicemen the comradeship which made life in the services bearable and the humorous incidents which helped to offset the horrors of war. In Nelson the Tin Hat Club annually stages a review which portrays this other side of war. This year, "Carry on Dig" drew a full house on Anzac night and those unable to get seats saw the show in the afternoon. And the verdict? A first-class show, full of interest, laughter, nostalgia and a little sorrow.
