Snooker Champion'S Visit

The Australian professional snooker champion, Eddie Charlton, drew devotees of billiards and snooker to the Nelson, City and R. S. A. clubrooms, where he demonstrated very graphically the talents that brought him the Australian championship. In the City club, he scored a 265 break at billiards, and at the R. S. A. he scored over 100 in a break. But his greatest value, apart from the entertainment side of his appearances, was in answering questions and demonstrating various shots, grips, bridges and stances. These pix were taken during his visit to the R. S. A.
