The Force Behind The Farm

"A great bunch of blokes to work with. You can depend on them completely. " These were the words of farm manager Rupert Martin as we bumped down the hill towards the group of men busily wiring a fence below us. These men, and their predecessors, have erected something like 43 miles of fence around the property as well as handling all the usual chores associated with a sheep farm. From what we've heard, Rupert certainly has got a good crew. But we also hear the crew's got a pretty good captain.

Rupert was pleased with the way the swedes had begun to come away after the drought.

Bob Gilmore and Tony Rose looked cheerful enough when we saw them.

Ash Heath, the old timer of the staff, has been on the farm since the start of the project.

Jim Dunn and his dogs didn't escape the camera either.
