Here And There
There are some good keen men in Nelson. We found 17 of them, some watersiders, some joggers, burning up the road between the freezing works and the port on a Sunday morning recently. The occasion was a race between the two teams, a race won by the watersiders by four points. A big crowd was on hand to welcome home the runners. Allan Stokell (right), a jogger, was first and Glynn Newell (left), a watersider, was second.
A new slant on Port Nelson, taken from above Wakefield Quay.
