Moto Cross At the Brook

Ivan Miller, of Blenheim, has scored many successes in motor-cycling contests run by the Nelson Motor Cycle Club, and he appeared set for the Nelson moto-cross championship when his luck ran out. Engine trouble towards the latter part of the race forced his retirement at a time when he held a handy lead over Des Boyce, also of Blenheim. Boyce went on to win comfortably.
