Miniature show

Probably the most important event on the calendar of the Wakatu Pony Club is the miniature show, held each year a few weeks before the A and P show. Riders from many district pony clubs converged on the airport for the day, and the brilliant sunshine undoubtedly added to the unqualified success it was. Much of the jumping was disappointing, but several competitors added to their reputations with outstanding exhibitions.
