Rangers Lose Chatham Cup Game

For most of its game against Western of Christchurch, Rangers appeared to have a chance of going into the final of the South Island section of the Chatham Cup, but two goals in the second half put the local side out of the contest. Nevertheless it was a good game, full of movement and excitement. Featured above are two action shots of the Western goalie, D. Spragg, who was outstanding. Both pics portray his agility and ability.
