Stoke Housewives' Badminton Club

For many housewives with a young family, there's very little opportunity to take part in organised sport or recreation. Organised sport can become a tie, and there's always the problem of "what to do with the children. " Three keen badminton players at Stoke solved this problem for at least 50 Stoke housewives. They formed a ladies' club, rented the Stoke Hall for two hours every Tuesday morning and play badminton with other Stoke housewives. And the children go too.
