Sherry River Bridge Opened
Improved access to the Wangapeka Valley has been provided by the Waimea County Council with the construction of a new concrete bridge over the Sherry River. At the moment the bridge serves a mere handful of residents in. the valley, but the future holds a prospect of a road through to Karamea and this bridge could be part of that route.
