Ballroom Dancing Festival
The first festival of ballroom dancing run by amateurs in Nelson will be held in the Y.M.C.A. during Easter. It is the first such festival held in Nelson for eight years and about 50 dancers, from as far as Auckland and Christchurch, will compete in the various grades. Feature of the festival will be the choosing of a "Queen of the Ballroom". Our pic is of Jim and Jean Brough, of Nelson, the only local couple in the pre-amateur grade.
