Grant Edwards and daughters Phillip and Adrienne were fishing from Grant's boat off Snapper Point one Sunday morning when Grant got a decent tug on his line. An hour later he hauled in this 12ft thresher shark. The snapper hook on the 45lb breaking strain line he was using was stuck into a corner of the nasty looking mouth. It weighed more than 300 lb. No wonder Grant, Phillipa and Adrienne are looking pleased with themselves.
