This year's Nelson Trotting Cup meeting will be remembered for, if nothing else, the big dividends. Biggest was the £105 for a win paid out on No Catchem' on the second day, and dividends were, for the most part, quite high on both days. The cup itself was won this year by Third Chief in an exciting finish with My Word. As the finish (above) shows, Third Chief just had his nose in front at the line.
