New Tahunaui Factory Opened

More than 200 guests attended the official opening of the new premises of J. D. and L. Robertson in Bolt Road, Tahuna, The firm, a subsidiary of Fletchers, recently quit its premises in Hardy Street to move to its new location. The spacious new factory workshops, offices and yard now allow staff a freedome of movement and convenience hitherto unknown in the city area. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr Harold Robertson, a son of the firm's founder, and also present was Mr J. C. Fletcher, managing director of Fletcher Holdings.
