Speedboats On Lake Rotoiti

The beautiful setting of Lake Rotoiti drew big crowds for the twoday regatta of the Rotoiti and Marlborough Power Boat Club. Fine weather meant excellent racing conditions and drivers and boats put on some spectacular displays. Major event on the second day (which we attended) was the South Island V-bottom championship, won by P. Calbert in Anita 11.
