The neat, simple and beautifully-laid out garden of Mr and Mrs T.G.Winter, 7 Neale Avenue North, Stoke, won for them the Nelson Jay– cee best garden award recently. Neale Avenue was also judged the best garden street. The second placing went to Mr and Mrs M. J. Fenemor, Waterhouse Street, Wakatu, and third place to Mr and Mrs K. Thompson, 2 Melrose Terrace.
