St Joseph's Convent Drama Evening
Four plays produced by Miss Frona King were presented by Form 2 pupils of St Joseph's Convent recently. They were the "Willow Pattern Plate", a scene from "David Copperfield", "Henry VIII and Catherine Parr" and "John O'Dreams.
The finale of "John o' Dreams"
David Copperfield (Anthony King-Turner) begs Miss Betsy (Ann Goddard) and Mr Dick (Dennis O'Donnell) not to let Mr and Miss Murstone (Richard Merritt and Therese Simpson) take him away.
Henry (Kevin Roberts) tells Catherine Parr (Colleen Cos-tello) he was only funning when he said he'd have her executed.
