Piracy in Trafalgar Street

Early last month what seemed like hundreds of villainous looking pirates with all the trimmings descended upon the lower end of Trafalgar street, stormed the Cathedral steps, captured some hostages and then ransacked an icecream stall thoughtfully provided for them. The raid was made on the occasion of the fancy-dress parade of Nelson cubs as part of the Treasure Hunt campaign. Bishop F. O. Hulme-Moir judged the contest which was won by the Tahuna Cub pack.
