The New South Wales left wing V. Kearney runs round Nelson's R. Bowater during the match against Nelson Colts earlier this month. The game was a poor one, both sides kicking too often when, with a little initiative, play could have been opened up. Nelson won 13-8, but there was little in their win to rave about. This late-model heavy truck operated by Murchison contractor F. A. Willetts was badly damaged when it was struck by another truck in the Murchison district earlier this month. Nobody was hurt but the truck was badly damaged.
