Veterans' Bowling Tourney

Veteran bowlers from Nelson clubs – they had to be over 60 – had a tournament all to themselves this year, thanks to the Coronation Women's Bowling Club. The club put its green and members at the disposal of the veterans and with the exception of a brief but heavy shower of rain, the tourney was a complete success.
