Wartime Aircraft's Visit

A large crowd, many of whom had nostalgic memories,of the Mustangs they once flew, was at Nelson airport to greet Mr J. McDonald, of Christchurch, when he landed his speedy Mustang. The aircraft, used extensively in the Pacific during the Second World War, had just established a new Dunedin-Auckland record for single engine aircraft.
