Tahuna Beach was a mass of colour and upturned faces as girls competing for the titles of "Miss Teenager* and "Miss Tahuna Beach" exhibited their charms. Major a*.vord, "Miss Tahuna,** went to Helen Craven (Wellington), seen aboye with the W.D. and H. O. Wills Cup, presented to her by Nelson P. R. O., Sean O'Hagan. Sandra Whitehead (Blenheim) won the teenager contest (at right of above pic) with Lynette Craig (Christchurch) second and Pauline Burgess (Auckland), at left, third.
