Best Gardens In Nelson

For the second successive year a house in Melrose Terrace has won the Jaycee best gardens contest. This year first prize went to Mr and Mrs P. J. Delaney, 4 Melrose Terrace, who live alongside the 1963 winners, Mr and Mrs K. Thompson. Incidentally, Mr and Mrs Delaney's home was featured on the front cover of February "Photo News" this year.

Mrs Margaret Arnold and Mr Bill Akerstem hold the plaque presented to the residents of Anglia Street, Wakatu, which was judged the best street.

Second place went to Mr and Mrs S. Robinson, at 69 The Ridgeway.

Mr and Mrs O. E. Gausel, 88 Kawai Street, won third place.
