The "Dinks" Remembered

Veterans of the First World War were the guests of the Nelson R. S. A. last month to mark the anniversary of the sailing of the first main body of New Zealand 50 years ago. And what an afternoon it was! With more than 100 veterans gathered together, it was inevitable that the talk should turn to the old days and there was plenty of banter between "dinks" and those who followed them, and the respective units in which they served.
