College Music Festival
The assembly hall at Nelson College was packed by parents and friends for the annual music festival of the college. Choral and orchestral items were given before the massed choirs of the boys and girls colleges combined for "Hiawatha's Wedding Feast" (above). To the accompaniment of strings only, Wayne Newth plays the trumpet solo.
