Comings and Goings
Arrived in Nelson is David lydford, wife Freda and eight-year-old son, Gordon. The Lydford family hails from England where David was a photo-journalist with the "Daily Mirror". He's come to Nelson for some sunshine.
Departing Richmond is Terry Hoskin and ramily Deirdre, his wife, Joanne and Catherine. Their new home is Greymouth where Terry as a traffic officer has been transferred.
With the closing of Snowcraft, manager Mervyn Jewell and wife Pamela have taken off for Auckland where Mervyn will take over a managerial post for an electrical firm. With them go kiddies Deborah, Jennifer, Geoffrey and David.
Graeme White, who was with the D.S.I.R, in Nelson, is taking off for the United States to take up a post-graduate research grant. He'll be away about three years. With him is Gae Henderson.
