Ploughing Match

Peter McCallum, winner of the Nelson qualifying round for the Atlantic-sponsored New Zealand ploughing championship last year, took his second successive title when he won the local title at Appleby earlier this month. Peter is from Blenheim, so his journey was not in vain. Ian Jordan, alst of Blenheim was second and Don McDowell (Hope) was third.
