Preparing for the national convention of the New Zealand Travel and Holiday Association held in Nelson this month. The conference was held in the Celtic Rugby Club's gymnasium but access to the gym was so poor that the City Council decided to do something about it. The result is a fine extension to Grove Street.

The Nelson Savage Club, complete with banners, made a raid on the Poneke Savage Club, Wellington, last month. From all accounts the boys had a marvellous weekend.
