Faces at the Races

The Nelson Trotting Club's summer meeting over two days drew large fields and big attendances, and the success of the meeting was undoubtedly aided by the hot weather. For quite a few punters, however, the meeting could not be classed as successful - at least not for them. As most people spend most of their time at the racecourse studying odds and form, we decided to have a little quiet look at the people who were prepared to back up their views of a nag with a few bob.
