Australasian Premiere of "Man in the Moon"

Through the co-operation of Mr R. J. Kerridge and the Rank Organisation, Nelson Jaycees completed another successful enterprise with the showing for one night of the "Man in the Moon" at the Majestic Theatre. This film, seen by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, had not been shown outside London before it came to Nelson. The venture raised £400 for the Nelson Intellectually Handicapped Children's Association.
