Fire at Foundry

A storeroom, office block and messroom at the Wakefield Quay foundry of the Anchor Shipping and Foundry Co was gutted by an early morning fire. It is thought the fire began in the moulders' yard, alongside the storeroom, but the cause was not definitely known.
