Hotelkeepers' Golf Tournament
Hotel keepers throughout New Zealand laid aside their hoses, measures and glasses for a week in favour of the great outdoors and the Nelson Golf Club's course at Tahuna where the Association's annual golf tournament was held. From all accounts it was a wonderful tournament and the great array of trophies displayed at top provided a great incentive to those who had come far for the tourney. Nevertheless, we heard that some of the best golf of the week was played at one hole – the nineteenth.
