Air Scout Group Formed
Scouting has taken to the air. Recently in Nelson the first Air Scouts group was formed and is now thriving. With the cooperation of the Aero Club, the group has its own headquarters in a room in the aero club hangar, but with the growth of the movement it may shortly have to look for larger premises. The group has already grown to 31, and there is a waiting list. As well as taking part in the usual scouting activities, this group will receive specialised training in all matters pertaining to flying.
