N.A.C. Scenic Flight

Per courtesy of the National Airways Corporation we joined 39 other passengers on a Friendship which for two hours flew us over some of the most rugged, yet beautiful country in New Zealand. The corporation turned on everything – except the weather. For the most part the sun remained behind high, dense cloud, so that some of the magnificence of the snow-covered mountains was lost. Still, it was a most enjoyable flight.
