Sailing Club's Prizegiving

As the picture at the bottom shows, the table supporting trophies won by members of the Aurora Sailing Club during the past season was just groaning under the weight of silver. Centrepiece of the trophies was a new one, a beautiful one given by the daughters of the club's late patron, Mr A. K. (Tod) Sloane. It will be awarded annually to the skipper finishing the greatest number of races in all classes in a set number of events.
