Speedboats on the Lake

Big crowds from Nelson and Marlborough flocked to beautiful Lake Rotoiti over New Year for the two-day regatta of the Rotoiti and Marlborough power boat clubs. The first day's events were held in a slight chop but on the second day there were many capsizes due to a strong chop.

The lake was a perfect setting for the events
