Young Couple Lose Heavily in Fire

Barely a week after they had moved into a rented house at 9 Ranui Street, Stoke, a young married couple, Mr and Mrs Michael Browning, lost all their personal belongings when the house was gutted by fire shortly after 2 a.m. Mrs Browning is shortly expecting to have her first child. They were heavy losers for none of the personal effects were insured, but neighbours, the city council, and firms have come to their aid by launching an appeal for them.
