Eighth Successive Win

For the eighth successive year the Nelson College Cadet Unit won the South Island "Weekly Press" Challenge Shield for shooting. The shield was presented to the school by Lt. Col. R. J. Moor, Chief of Staff, Southern Military District, at a ceremony last month. The 10-man team scored 96.6 per cent, the best of the 34 secondary schools which competed.
