An artist's impression of the new bank to be erected by the Australia and New Zealand Bank in Hardy Street, on the same site as that at present occupied by the old building. The new bank will be set well back from the road with a paved court and flower plots. The posts in the foreground support a verandah over the footpath - an obligatory feature under the city by-laws.

Visitors to Tahuna recently will have noticed this big tank being erected. It is part of the sewerage reticulation scheme for the beach.
