Mannequin Parade at Girls' College

Mention clothes to a woman and her eyes light up. Teenage girls are no less enthusiastic, and that is probably why, after overcoming initial nervousness, the pupils of Nelson College for Girls made such an excellent showing as mannequins at the school recently. The parade was a Form 111 (C2) effort to raise money for the new assembly hall, and we're sure they enjoyed the effort put into the show as much as the capacity audience. The clothes were supplied for the occasion by "The Miss Nelson", which also provided backdrops in the form of windows. The audience saw the teenage fashions for winter, and was given a brief glimpse of what is to be available in the summer.
