Within a month it is hoped to have the new gymnasium at Waimea College completed. Work on the building is now well advanced after a holdup for steel supplies in January. Dressing sheds for the present baths will then serve the two-fold purpose as rooms for the gym, the sheds having been built into the side of the gym. Over 100ft long, 56 ft wide and 28ft high, the gym will be large enough for a full-sized, basketball court.
