City Decorations

The city's festive appearance was enhanced this year by hundreds of multi-coloured flags erected across the main business area of Trafalgar, Hardy and Bridge street. This colourful venture was sponsored by the Employers' Association which collected £1000 and handed over to the city council 110 strings of flags. About £330 has been retained for replacement.
