Nelson Won S. I. Badminton

Nelson won the South Island third division badminton title with an 11-5 win over North Otago. Nelson gained an early 3-1 lead in the doubles, but North Otago evened at 4-4 with strong singles' play. However, by the end of the singles, Nelson led 8-4 and forged further ahead in the combined doubles.
