So Many Shags
Nelson Haven appears to be a popular spot with shags, lately. Hundreds of the birds can be seen daily, sun-bathing on rocks, giving herrings a hectic time, flying in formation, or just grooving along doing their thing at their own pace. The long-established gulls are not quite sure what to make of it all.
A classic example of formation flying
What a life. Sitting on rocks lapping up the sunshine and letting the world go by
Or just cruising around in the water, catching the odd herring
Righto lads. Hupp, two, three, four, five. Come on, get in step!
Boy! Just look at those stupid shags! Can't even fly straight. Should put the breathalyser on 'em.
