Sir Arthur Bids Farewell

About 400 people, representing local bodies, social and religious groups, attended an official farewell function for Sir Arthur and Lady Porritt, at Stoke. During his term as Governor-General, Sir Arthur and Lady Porritt have been popular visitors to Nelson and he said he considered he had a close tie with the province.
