Baby Photo Contest

The baby photo contest organised by the Nelson Y.M.C.A. was drawing to a close as this issue went to press. The contest has now entered its most interesting and exciting stage. The finalists have been chosen and if there is a shortage of pennies around Nelson for a time, Jack Hanna at the Y.M.C.A. can probably help out, for he'll be emptying the penny voting jars daily. In the next issue we hope to be able to publish the winner's photograph, and the other major place-getters. Some lucky family's going to get a trip to Australia. The photographs on this page are of the winners of the Nelson 5th, 6th and 7th heats, and the 3rd heats at Stoke and Richmond. All Nelson and Stoke pics are by the Peter Cooper Studio.
