A Fine Effort By Rotary West

Thanks to the effort of the Rotary Club of Nelson West, the Nelson Public Hospital can boast a $14, 000 medical centre. About half of that value was contributed by voluntary labour and donated materials. The project was mooted about 15 months ago and construction began in March. There is still a deficit of about $1000. The centre was opened by the Dean of the Christchurch Clinical School, Professor G. L. Rolleston.
