Miniature riflemen (and women) fired off their champion of champions series recently at the Nelson club range. We shot them, just before the shooting started, as follows (there were quite a few absentees at this stage): Front, L. A. Evans, Mrs D. McLachlan, N. Palmer, J. Mayson; Back: R. Evans, G. Holland, E. Bovey, J. Zerface. At left we caught modern Annie Oakley, Mrs McLachlan, as she lined up her target.

Boats attracted a lot of attention at the Monaca boat show, but so did these lads, Paul Chisnall (top), and Geoffrey Toll, The two gave first-class demonstrations on various methods of resuscitation and backed up their practical work with an excellent line of patter.
