Twinkling Toes and Pretty Girls

Not all men are bumble-footed when it comes to dancing and this was well indicated at the Nelson Amateur Ballroom Dancing Association's championships and festival at Easter. The exciting and stately event was held in the new basketball stadium at Stoke.

Liam and Gloria O'Reilly (last year's Ballroom Queen) competed. The couple were on honeymoon from Auckland. Liam is the son of Dr W. O'Reilly, Medical Superintendent at Ngawhatu
