Thrilling Finish To Women's Fours

The air was electric as the final bowl was sent down by Ellie Coltman, skip of the Maitai four. Coronation, skipped by Molly Glasgow, had grabed the initiative with a shock six at the 18th end and now led 21-20. Mrs Coltman's last effort failed and the Nelson Women's Bowling Centre fours title went to the Coronation team 24-20. Mrs Glasgow's four had come from eight down with four ends to go, to cause an upset. A grand final to a popular tournament.
