Motueka Turned Out For The Show
Hundreds of people flocked to March-wood Park for the annual Motueka A. and P. Show and all sections of the show were well patronised. Favourite with many children was sideshow alley which, although lacking much variety, catered for most.

The champion mare was Donny Brook Marietta, owned by Fergus O'Connor, Appleby. She also won the same title at the Christchurch Show
Denise Thomason of Hope and Lord Argosy had a successful day and included the champion hack title in their wins
